BSNL has revised its prepaid plans to offer “unlimited” voice calling and SMS benefits on MTNL network. This new revised prepaid plans of Bharat Sachar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is applicable on the BSNL prepaid plans which are starting from Rs.97.
This revised plan will join with the ongoing merger between BSNL and MTNL, which was merged last year in October. Till now, the telecom operator had the MTNL network as exclusion while offering voice calling and SMS benefits. BSNL customers were not able to make free calls or SMS messages in the Mumbai and Delhi circles which are on MTNL network.
As per the news, posted by BSNL Chennai division, the revised plan is applicable on a total of 25 prepaid recharge plans, prepaid vouchers (PVs), and the first recharge coupons (FRVs). All the unlimited voice calling benefits have been developed on the MTNL network for BSNL customers who are using the Rs. 99, Rs.104, Rs.349, and Rs.447 prepaid recharge plans. All these plans have 250 minutes of voice calls.
In voice calling benefits, BSNL provided 100 SMS messages per day on MTNL roaming. All the customers who are using the Rs. 97, Rs. 118, Rs. 187, Rs. 199, Rs. 247, Rs. 298, Rs. 349, Rs. 399, Rs. 447, Rs. 499, Rs. and 1,098 prepaid plans as well as PVs and FRVs valued at Rs. 106, Rs. 107, Rs. 153, Rs. 186, Rs. 365, Rs. 429, Rs. 485, Rs. 666, Rs. 997, Rs. 1,699, Rs. 1,999 will get 100 SMS messages per day.
BSNL posted a post which says, that the newly revised plans are applicable in Chennai and Tamil Nadu circles only.
As of now, BSNL has not made any changes to the benefits, and the customers will get voice calling minutes, SMS messages, and data allocation, which they got earlier.
